The Photography of Ken Bonner

Lewiston photographer, Ken Bonner, grew up in Orofino, Idaho and spent thirty years as a logger/timber faller around the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. He also worked eight years at the prison in Orofino, Idaho where he took inmate work crews out on various jobs and wildland fires.

Ken has a lifetime of experience in the outdoors and has worked, hunted, fished, camped and hiked for his hobbies and enjoyment of the woods. It was only natural that photography would be added to the list after his retirement in 2011.

Ken started taking bird and wildlife photos in 2017 with a cellphone attached to a spotting scope. This led to the addition of a camera around his neck for more versatility in all situations. He now spends much of his time outdoors searching for birds or animals and also
keeping an eye out for beautiful scenery along the way.
