DeeDee's journey is truly inspiring. She grew up in Genesee and made the move to Lewiston in 1985. She found her passion in the beauty industry as a hairstylist. After overcoming cancer and losing vision in one eye, she decided to explore her artistic side by enrolling in a drawing course. Before long she started watercolor painting, drawing inspiration from her daily life.

Whether it's the cozy charm of her home and garden or the playful nature of her adorable Australian Labradoodle, Magnolia, DeeDee transforms these moments into beautiful works of art. Her creations invite us to pause and truly appreciate the little things we often overlook, be it a tiny insect, a blooming flower or a graceful fish. DeeDee feels incredibly blessed to share this gift and help others reconnect with the beauty surrounding us every day.
