Arleen Watson, Hawaii born and raised realized at an early age she could look at pictures and draw what she was looking at., and with time she became a reproduction artist. She was mentored by her art Teachers who let her talent flourish, by doing all the school holiday murals as stained glass on the windows of the classes that faced the streets. Loved missing math classes. Did all the stage art work for the Drama classes plays, took classes at the Hawaiian Academy of Arts in Honolulu, worked for a Gallery in the Waikiki International market Place . She was much influenced by native culture and The Japanese upbringing she was surrounded by. She not only paints, she is gifted in Floral, interior Design, and all forms of needle craft, has a full quilting shop out of her home which is where her Gallery and Studio is located. Called Created for You, she calls it Affordable Art. Does custom Art and Quilts and floral arrangements what the customer requests. But being so creative she is best known for for her not only Animal portraits, but of local landscapes, and of different countries, and is a prolific painter with her Work thru out the world, even in Mainland China.
